Induced Labour Class
Eliminate the unknown by learning everything about induction, before you even set foot in the hospital. We will review what a labour induction includes, as well as ways to make it the best experience possible.
We will also cover how to make your birth individualized, how to incorporate your preferences and how to set yourself up for the best recovery.

Caesarean Birth Class
Adopt a positive mindset and have the best caesarean birth possible. Through education, we will eliminate anxiety and fear of the unknown, and ensure you feel comfortable with the procedure itself.
We will also cover how to make your birth feel less surgical, and how to set yourself up for your best recovery.

Unmedicated Delivery Class
Address the what-ifs and educate yourself to feel strong and ready for your unmedicated birth. We will cover normal sensations in labour, as well as come up with coping strategies and skills to help you manage your pain - physically and mentally.
We will also include your partner so they can support you in your goals.

Epidural Delivery Class
Let go of your fear and anxiety, and feel fully prepared for your epidural birth. We will discuss labour progress, and the epidural procedure, so you feel calm, confident and prepared.
We will also cover ways to cope with the sensations of labour prior to getting your epidural.

Postpartum & Newborn Class
Thrive in the postpartum period. We will cover what is normal for you in the early postpartum period, and what you can do to protect that special time. I will help you identify your postpartum support, and come up with a plan to help you and your partner have the best postpartum period possible.
I will also introduce you to the normal newborn, and what to expect in those early days.

Infant Feeding Class
No matter how you are choosing to feed your baby, you will leave this session feeling confident and prepared. Depending on your feeding plans, topics covered may include:
How to prepare prior to the arrival of you baby, and setting yourself up for success
Breastfeeding basics, latch, positioning and nipple care. We will also cover how to protect breastfeeding if you get off to a rocky start, as well as how to know if you need postpartum breastfeeding support.
How to safely prepare formula, how to make bottle preparation easier for yourself and your partner, and how to ensure you are storing your formula properly.
What partial or exclusive pumping looks like. How to select the correct size flanges, how to optimize milk supply in the first days, and throughout the postpartum period.
How to know if your infant is getting enough to eat
